ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Young Lions Jazz Conservatory summer workshop is open to students of ALL AGES from every corner of the globe! Each day provides students with a deep dive into musical content with world-class faculty.
The format includes participation in a seven- or eight-member performance ensemble and the opportunity to grow and learn through a variety of educational opportunities. Each day will bring new musical discoveries, including masterclasses and sessions focused on jazz history, improvisation, and more. Classes run for 75 minutes.
Ensembles will meet on Mondays and Fridays, and other classes will be held Tuesday through Thursday. Students who do not wish to participate in an ensemble may choose a class-only track.
